If you like spicy Thai food, this will be a perfect lunch for you. This is a very spicy, sour dish using lots of local herbs and fresh chilli 🌶. There are many versions of Phat Phet Squid and it is a relatively easy dish to cook within 15 minutes.
Bite-size squid cut added after the Phat Phet spice had been sautéed in oil, leaves it to simmer until squid cooked through. You can get the store-bought Phat Phet Sauce or homemade it during the weekend in a batch and store it in the freezer.

What do you need?
10 medium squid, cleaned
300g Phat Phet Sauce (spicy sauce)
A handful of long bean or ladyfinger, chopped
How?
Heat a wok with olive oil, sauté the Phat Phet Sauce until fragrant around 5 minutes
Add the bite-size squid and long bean, Stir fry for 3 minutes or until squid is fully cooked.
Serve with rice.
