Cast Iron Ribeye Steaks Recipe

Servings: 2 

Ingredients: 

2 rib-eye steaks, 1-inch thick

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 chopped fresh herb

1 teaspoon black pepper

2 teaspoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon Hennessy

1 sprig of fresh thyme


  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper, olive oil and fresh herbs and massage the seasonings into the steaks.

  2. Preheat a cast-iron skillet and when it’s hot, add the rib eye steaks and sear on both sides until golden brown.

  3. Remove the steaks. To start the butter, add in the butter, and garlic and saute until fragrant. Then add the lemon zest, lemon juice, Hennessy, and thyme and cook for about 60 seconds until thickened. Pour over steaks and enjoy.
