Ingredients:
For Pork Meatballs Recipe
750g minced pork, 20% fat
2 tbsp Sesame oil
1 large egg
½ cup carrot, diced into small cubes
¼ cup green onion, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp cornstarch
4 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 tsp fish sauce, optional
For tomato sauce
3 large tomatoes, peeled skin
1 canned tomato, chopped
2 cloves garlic thinly sliced
½ cup onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
350g pasta as you desire
Instructions
For the pork meatball recipe, in a large bowl, mix all ingredients until fully combined and shaped into a round meatball shape.
Heat a skillet with olive oil under medium heat and pan-fry the meatball until slightly brown. Turn meatballs regularly until fully cooked. set aside.
Boil a pot lightly salted with water and cook the pasta as the package instructions. Drain well.
For the tomato sauce, heat the pan with olive oil, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant. Add canned tomato and chopped fresh tomato, simmer for 15 minutes under low heat. Add the meatballs for the last 5 minutes and season.
Split the pasta between bowls, top with meatballs and sauce. Garnish with coriander.
