
Do you love kimchi?
This versatile Korean Fried Rice Recipe is an inexpensive, simple and extremely delicious Sunday meal made basically with kimchi and leftover rice. Topped with a fried egg and seaweed. So good!
Ingredients
1 cup kimchi
3 cup leftover rice
1 tbsp shallot
1 tbsp gochujang
2 tbsp sesame oil
1/4 Kimchi juice
Salt & pepper to taste
Topping
Fried egg
1/2 tbsp dry seaweed
Directions:
Heat up a wok with sesame oil, add shallot & kimchi. Stir fry until kimchi turns soft and deep in colour or until fragrant.
Add rice and all ingredients, stir fry until everything is well incorporated, around 5 mins.
Top with optional fried egg, garnish white sesame seed, dry seaweed or chopped scallions.
