Sweet, creamy and tangy cream cheese fruit tart is perfect for afternoon tea. My fruit selection today is passion fruit. Using homemade passion fruit jam and store-bought tart shell, you can simply enjoy cream cheese fruit tart dessert at home in under 30 mins.
Ingredients
Homemade passion fruits jam
1 ½ cup sugar
1 ⅓ cups of passion fruits concentrated from fresh fruits
2 tbsp lemon juice
Cream cheese tart filling
3 eggs
250g cream cheese
1 tbsp cornstarch
Steps:
Combine Passion fruits jam ingredients in a pot, slowly bring to boil and stir frequently until thick texture. Cool, set aside
Preheat oven to 180c, bake store-bought tart shell for 10 mins or until golden crust.
Combine cream cheese filling in a mixer bowl, until well combined.
Pour cream cheese filling until almost full. The filling won’t rise or increase in volume so pour to your desired volume.
Top with passion fruit jam then Bake it for 15 mins.
Chill in the fridge for 2 hours before serving.
