A super easy one-pan #vegan Stir Fry Rice Noodle Recipe is perfect for any day of the week, pot lucks, or gathering to feed the crowd. The pale white colour seems tasteless, but this fried White bee hoon is full of flavour, topped with fried shallot, red chilli, and scallion! Simple and delicious!
Ingredients
500g rice noodle, soaked
2 firm bean curd, sliced
1 carrot, sliced
2 cups cabbage
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp shallot, minced
1 tbsp fried shallot
Seasoning
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp olive oil
4 cup water or chicken stock
1 tbsp oyster sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Steps
Heat a wok with oil, sauté garlic and shallot until aromatic, add carrot, cabbage and bean curd. Stir fry for 3-4 mins.
Add water and seasoning with high heat, bring everything to simmer, add pre-soaked rice noodles to adsorb the stock, cover around 3-4 mins, and then mix until combined.
Serve immediately with red chilli, fried shallot, and green onion.
